The Apple of My Eye – La Petite Magazine

This was such a fun shoot to do. The concept of the shoot is based off the idea that when a kid has a crush on another kid, they can have the tendency to be mean to them since they don’t quite know how to express themselves. I remember seeing girls on the playground being mean to boys, hitting them, etc. when they really had HUGE crushes on them. So, I thought it would be really fun to do a shoot with the whole idea of girl likes boy, girl is mean to boy, boy is annoyed with girl and really doesn’t want anything to do with her and maybe in the end…boy like girl back? or not?? Hm…you be the judge.

I couldn’t have asked for 2 better models to do the shoot. They had wonderful chemistry (never had met before) and really fit the roles perfectly. They brought so much to the shoot. I can’t forget to mention the clothing companies who were so gracious to send clothing for the shoot (although not every image was used). I am sharing others that weren’t featured in La Petite but are just as special. Thanks to our wonderful wardrobe stylist, Gabrielle Lewis and Make-up/Hair Stylist Julie Figueroa  and special thanks to  Lemondrop Stop!
